Strange Nature
More than 25 years ago I created a web art piece called Strange Nature using imagery, code, and music. Now through photography I'm revisiting this theme, looking at the otherworldly quality of plant life and our environment. I invite viewers to contemplate the relationship between humans and nature, the increasing impacts that natural disasters have, and the strange forms that nature takes. And also to ask what is "strange" in nature. Perhaps our attempts to shape the world could be the strangest thing of all.
