Osaka Jungle
I wandered upon this aging shopping mall called Big Step in the free-wheeling, youth culture section of Osaka called America Mura (America Village). It was like a post-apocalyptic, overgrown jungle where a festival had happened long ago and was never taken down. The colors of the ornaments wrapped up and tangled in the crawling vines gave the site a maximalist vibe. The dreams of people long forgotten, birds and bugs now make it their home.
