The Making of my Open Studio

This year for my SF Open Studios I decided to show a recent photo series called Remembering Seal Rock. Since I had nearly 30 photos to hang and wanted to show them in a more free form manner (inspired by Wolfgang Tillmans) I decided to use free 3D software (SketchUp) to help think through how I wanted to hang the photos and what sequence they should go in. Below are two videos showing how I did it and the results of this process in the real space. I hope you can make it to my open studio to see the work on Sept. 21-22 10:00-5:00 at 2232 California St (Google map).
